VOA Bangla broadcasts in Virtual Wave

After 63 years of broadcasting, Voice of America's (VOA) Bangla Radio Service for Bangla speakers on FM and shortwave services will be shut down from July 17. Even though radio services have been shut down, their range of television and social media is expanding. Where more than one crore 60 lakh viewers and listeners are connected weekly. John Lippman, Acting Program Director of Voice of America, said, “Voice of America has also come up with various programs and services as the demand for TV and online access has increased in Bangladesh.
